LASER DIODE CHARACTERISTICS
MAXIMUM OUTPUT POWER: 26 mw
WAVELENGTH: 790 nm
IMPORTANT
The pickup of this device conforms to Class 3b of the FDA Laser Restrictions
(CFR21 PART 1040), and the device, which conforms to Class 1 as a total
product, is not to be disassembled for repair in the U.S.A. or its territories.
In other districts, the device must be disassembled for repair only by a
specially instructed person with sufficient care against laser light.
When the cover is opened, close viewing of the objective lens
with the naked eye will cause exposure to a Class 3b laser
beam.

2. CONTRAST OF MISCELLANEOUS PARTS
Parts marked by "NSP" are generally unavailable because they are not in our Master Spare Parts List.
The
mark found on some component parts indicates the importance of the safety factor of the part.
Therefore, when replacing, be sure to use parts of identical designation.
Screws adjacent to
mark on product are used for disassembly.
Reference Nos. indicate the pages and Nos. in the service manual for the base model.

DRM-1004/VY/WL and DRM-1004X40 are constructed the same except for the following :

· The numbers in the remarks column correspond to the numbers on the exploded diagram, Refer to "EXPLODED VIEWS".
*1: The packing method has been changed because of the design change though the power cord is the same part number.
Refer to No1 and No2 of "EXPLODED VIEWS".
*2: The Rear Plate (DNH2173) is the same as that of the parts used for other destination models (DRM-1004XR21/VYWL) included
in the manual (page 7, No.37 ) of the main model (DRM-1004X40/VYWL: OREDER No. RRV1772) .
